Join us Tuesdays for our FREE Rated Game of the Week.
The Details:
- 1 round every Tuesday
- To play, please arrive by 7:15 p.m.
- All games rated – all ages welcome
- Rated play requires a USCF membership (obtainable on-site)
- Game in 1 hour with a 5 second increment

Chess Zone requires that all folks who attend our events either supply proof of full vaccination or wear an N-95, KN-95, or KF-94 mask.

Want even more chess? We’re hiring! Turn your love of the game into a fun and rewarding career by joining the Chess Zone and Kid Chess Team! We are hiring Coaches of all levels for our Afterschool Program and seeking Tournament Directors for those with more knowledge of the chess world.
With the opening of Chess Zone we now have opportunities for our coaches to get more hours – with the posibility for time positions for very well qualified candidates.
Successful candidates will possess
- At minimum a basic knowledge of chess and/or experience working with children
- Superior people skills
- Availability most weekdays during after school hours (roughly 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM)
- Full vaccination against COVID-19
